I love a good romantic movie. I can watch them over and over!! And I do, (much to my husbands chagrin)!
Here are my top 9--in no particular order:
Some Kind of Wonderful
Pride and Prejudice
The American President
A Walk to Remember
The Notebook
You've Got Mail
Sleepless in Seattle
While You Were Sleeping
Charley
Of course this makes me remember Top Gun, which I watched at least 100 times with Jennifer in high school and college. We even had a few favorite scenes marked and we would fast forward to them if we were in a hurry and didn't have time to watch the whole movie. Yes, I will have to add Top Gun.
Any others I am leaving out??

Those are all great movies, romantic movies are my favorite too!! My Mom has always kept the Top Gun where we wrote the numbers that coincided with our favorite scenes (the cute smile, the volleyball scene!!)Okay, here is my list to add to yours: OLDER-Pretty Woman,When Harry Met Sally,Overboard,Romancing the Stone. NEWER-Becoming Jane,50 First Dates,Notting Hill,My Big Fat Greek Wedding,Legally Blonde, Hitch, How to Lose a Guy in 10 days,13 Going On 30 and The Holiday...no wonder I can't get the laundry caught up!?!
How I remember Top Gun and what we called the good scenes. You girls would let me know when my favorite scene was getting close, “hurry Mom the volleyball scene is coming up” you would all say and I would come running in the room just in time.
I love the Notebook and You’ve Got Mail, I guess I love them all!!
Jen, I just watched Waitress this past weekdna dnit made me laugh so hard-have you seen it. it is not "totally" appropriate, but whatever!! If you were on facebook you would know all of this already. Get on facebook NOW!!! I mean it, you are not too busy for some friend time on facebook....said by the one that only has two kids...I know, I know....just do it okay!!
Jennifer F. haven't you learned the trick of folding laundry while watching these movies? It is a great way to get caught up on the laundry and watch girl movies guilt free! Now I can't wait to fold laundry!
Jennifer S. I enjoyed your list. :-) Makes me want to watch some of those oldies.
Just imagine how delighted I would be to open your blog and see a post! haha
